Experience
I started tutoring when I was in college. There, I worked with student athletes in a variety of different subjects. I was also a student teacher, and assisted with tutoring for a Biology class. During this time, I discovered how much I liked to interact with others, as well as be a facilitator for their learning. After graduating from school, I traveled and volunteered internationally, and have been able to learn about a variety of different cultures. Presently, I am an AmeriCorps member, where I tutor students in a charter school from grades 5th-8th.I am available to tutor students in Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus 1, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Precalculus, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Spanish 1-4, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Psychology, Environmental Science, Pre-Algebra, Life Sciences, Ecology, Social Sciences, Math, Science, English, and Languages, as well as ACT test prep and AP classes.I am a graduate of Michigan State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology and Microbiology, as well as a minor in Spanish.When I'm not busy with work, I love to go hiking to new and different places. I also enjoy practicing yoga. I love to play board games as well when I have time.
